Single End Cord (SEC):
Various types of synthetic or natural fibers are used in the production of single end cord. Nylon, polyester, aramid, rayon and other yarns are twisted according to the customer specifications and then cords are formed by combining two or more of these twisted yarns. The final process step involves placing a chemical dip on the cord, which helps create the adhesive bond between the cord and rubber or other substrates.

The cords can be treated with RFL dips, rubber cements, water and solvent-based isocyanates and epoxies. Special formulations can be developed to meet individual needs for stiff or soft cord.
